Christmas Day

Christmas day was a busy one for us. We did gifts at our house 1st thing in the morning, then headed up to Bad Axe for Christmas and Dinner with Amanda's Family. It was a long tiring day but was very enjoyable! Here are some pictures from the day.

After Santa stopped by.

"There are just so many, I don't know where to start?"

Who knew the bows would be her favorite!

Christmas Eve

Our Christmas celebrations got started on Christmas Eve when we invited my Parents and Brothers over for dinner and exchanging gifts. I was fortunate enough to have the day off to be able to cook while Amanda was working. For Apetizers we had spinach dip, and veggie pizza squares, for dinner we had prime rib, a sweet potatoe and apple dish, and cheesey potatoes, and for dessert there were sugar cookies, pumpkin cheesecake, and a cream cheese strawberry dessert. It ended up turning out great but was very stressful trying to get everything ready and take care of Ellasyn. I have much respect for stay at home moms now!

After dinner was cleaned up we all gathered in the living room and did our gift exchange.

"What I get gifts?!"

"Now were talking Cash Money!"

Happy Thanksgiving!

Ellasyn's 1st Thanksgiving. We were up at Amanda's parents house for dinner.

Gobble Gobble, Wobble Wobble

Im so hungry I am going to eat the Turkey on my bib!

What? Is there something on my face?

Prior to Dinner we did a Family photo shot for the in-laws christmas cards. Lots of pictures later we were able to get a couple where Ellasyn actually looked towards the camera rather then at me or the ground.

Ellasyn's Halloween Photo Shoot

Couple weekends ago we visited some friends for me to shoot some skeet and Amanda to hang with the mommies and babies, well they had a mini fall themed photo studio set-up in their dining room for taking Halloween pictures of the little ones. We liked the idea so much we decided to try the same thing this past weekend, so Saturday while Amanda was feeding Ellasyn I headed to Michaels to get some fall/halloween themed decorations. I ended up with a couple mini bales of hay, a couple sections of fall leaf garland, some fake gords and pumpkins and finally a Mum. We wanted to set it up in our front yard in front of our Burning bush, it is bright red right now with the color change, but it kept raining on and off. We opted to use the dining room table. I arranged the mini hay bales to create a corner area that we could prop Ellasyn up in and then arranged the other decoration around her, even used our Pumpkin we got at the Cider Mill a couple weekends ago. I think the set-up turned out really good, and the pictures with Ellasyn even better! Take a look and let me know what you think!

"Hey are you done yet?"

"Maybe you will get the hint I'm hungry!"

"Wait I got another idea!"

"I'm giving you the fist for putting me in this costume!"

"I'm a little Sweet Pea!"

"Maybe if I cover up in leaves you will stop taking pictures!"

"And I've had enough!"
